Sacha Rumi is an 11-hectare sanctuary in the Peruvian rainforest, created as a land space for deep healing, retreats, and conscious connection with nature. Between the Cumbaza and Cachiyacu rivers—surrounded by untouched forest and fertile soil—the land offers malocas, tambos, fresh running water, and open space for meditation, plant medicine, yoga, dietas, and integrative work. Rooted in simplicity, respect, and the protection of the land, Sacha Rumi welcomes facilitators, healers, and groups who come with sincerity and the intention to grow.

A Vision Rooted in Respect and Conscious Living
Sacha Rumi began as a dream in 2004 and became a reality in 2007 with the purchase of 11 hectares of cultivated rainforest land near San Pedro de Cumbaza. The intention has always been to protect the land, foster natural harmony, and offer a space where human beings can reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with a more conscious way of living.

The center includes a spacious maloca for ceremonies, meditation, yoga, and integration circles; 15 individual tambos for personal retreat or dietas; 4 shared tambos; an open-air kitchen with solar energy; exterior bathrooms; and common spaces for rest and gathering. Streams run through the land year-round, providing fresh water and a calming acoustic backdrop.
The Land
Sacha Rumi rests between two clear rivers in the region of San Martín, accessible by a short walk through the rainforest from San Pedro de Cumbaza. The terrain spans valleys, streams, and dense jungle vegetation, creating a natural container for inner work. Much of the land has been intentionally conserved, while portions are tended for sustainable crops such as cacao, fruit trees, and medicinal plants.
